The Decades-long state sponsored persecution of Rohingya is increasingly recognized as Myanmar’s slow genocide of the Rohingya among international genocide and legal scholars as well as world’s icons such as Desmond Tutu, George Soros, Mairead Maguire, Amartya Sen and Dalai Lama. Currently Myanmar is in critical juncture, where Myanmar’s democratic transition is coming into light under Aung San Suu Kyi’s leadership.
In order to shed some light on “Rohingya & Democratic Transition under Aung San Su Kyi’s leadership,” we are organizing a side event conference in United Nations, Geneva. We are very pleased to cordially invite you as our guests to participate in the event. Your presence would certainly be a mean to raise an awareness of Rohingya’s hidden suffering.
