CONDOLENCE TO THE FAMILY OF USTAZ MAWLANA SAIFULLAH KHALID
The European Rohingya Council (ERC) and the Rohingya community are deeply saddened with the devastating news of the death of distinguished Ustaz Mawlana Saifullah Khalid.
On November 19, Ustaz Mawlana Saifullah Khalid passed away at the age of 62 leaving behind his loved ones in Pakistan after suffering from the late stage of cancer.
Ustaz Mawlana Saifullah Khalid born in Tat Min Chaung, Buthidaung Township, Arakan (Rakhine) State of Myanmar, was considered one of the highly respected religious scholars in the community who has served as the first president of Ittihad Al-Tullab Al-Muslimeen (ITM) and was a guardian of many prominent Rohingya human rights activists and religious scholars.
Ustaz Mawlana Saifullah Khalid has dedicated his entire life in the cause of Rohingya. His loss will leave a void in our fight for justice, equality, safety and freedom.
The European Rohingya Council sends our deepest condolences to Ustaz Mawlana Saifullah Khalid’s wife, children, relatives, students and followers. May Allah grant him Jannah and bestow his family with the strength and courage for the greatest loss.
