Dhaka, Bangladesh: A deputy member of the European Rohingya Council (ERC) has met U.S. high profile official, Miss Victoria Oliver at Dhaka American Club on March 19, 2015.
Mr. Osman Johar, one of the lobby members of the European Rohingya Council (ERC) meets Oliver at 03.00 PM of Bangladesh local time. He discusses the current situation and predicament of Rohingya plight mainly registered and unregistered Rohingya refugees live in Cox’s Bazar areas of Bangladesh. He also partakes the aims and objectives of ERC and Rohingya issue for regularizing humanitarian assistance and safety to the Rohingya, education facilities and resettlement to the United States.
The Embassy diplomat Miss Victoria Oliver denotes as the U.S. government strongly concerns to the plight of the Rohingya, its co-operation with the authority of Bangladesh, UNHCR, IOM, several INGOs and local Bangladeshi communities to provide adequate humanitarian assistances and required health care to the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.
