Rebuilding Rohingya community is one of the founding pillars of the European Rohingya Council (ERC). Higher education is an integral part of “Rebuilding Rohingya Community”.

The European Rohingya Council has put its emphasis on paving paths for Rohingya students to pursue their respective educational dreams abroad, particularly Turkey. For years, the council has built a strong tie with the government of Turkey and several Turkish higher educational institutions which welcome Rohingya students who are denied the higher education in their native country Myanmar because of their Rohingya ethnicity.

The education team at the European Rohingya Council has been working hard to bring Rohingya students out of their despair by implanting hope and coordinating with the institutions in order to create a healthy environment for the Rohingya students.

The European Rohingya Council takes a great privilege seeing the students excelling in their respective fields from Medicine, Healthcare Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Train System Engineering, Political Science to International Students in Bachelor and Master programmes.

In this virtual conference in the Rohingya language, the European Rohingya Council team will discuss on the journey of students who are in the pursuit of higher education highlighting the challenges they face and dreams they have envisaged in rebuilding Rohingya community.
